Radio Terminals

Dansk Beredskabskommunikation A/S supplies radio terminals to the SINE Network from Motorola, Cassidian and Sepura through Danish sub suppliers of the brands. Motorola terminals are tested in real emergency situations in order to ensure that the ruggedized terminals are proofed against heat, water, shock, humidity, and other conditions that apply to emergency response work. In addition,  the Motorola terminals are protected against eavesdropping – an advantage in the fight against criminals and terrorism. The terminals are under constant development to adapt them to the ever changing conditions in emergencies as well as adapting them to the users’ feedback from daily use. In order to include user behaviour in emergency operations in the design of the terminals, Motorola also conducts anthropological and psychological research and observation studies. As a result Motorola has gathered profound experience in considering users’ cultural backgrounds in the design of terminals for different markets.
